Operating Pressure of Nitrogen and Carbon Molecular Sieves:


Carbon molecular sieves have balanced adsorption effect, high partial pressure of adsorbate and high adsorption capacity, so pressurized adsorption is beneficial, but the adsorption pressure is too high, and the requirement for air compressor selection is also increased. In addition, the two processes of atmospheric and vacuum regeneration have different requirements for adsorption pressure. For these factors, it is suggested that the adsorption pressure of atmospheric regeneration process should be 58Kg/cm2, and that of vacuum regeneration process should be 3-5Kg/cm2.
